These terms govern your use of theoptionpremium.com, the newsletters, alerts, reports, model portfolios, courses, community, and any other content published under the name The Option Premium. The Service is operated by Crowder Investment Research. By subscribing, reading, or otherwise using the The Option Premium and its services, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
The Option Premium is a publication. It provides education, research, commentary, and examples of how I trade options. It is not personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and nothing on the Service is a recommendation that you buy or sell any security or option. I am not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner, and I am not acting as your fiduciary. I don't know your financial situation, and nothing I publish takes it into account.Trade alerts, model portfolios, and any position I describe are a record of what I am doing or considering in my own accounts, or in a model account, for educational purposes. They are not instructions. Whether any of it is suitable for you is a question only you, and a licensed professional who knows your circumstances, can answer.
Options trading involves substantial risk and is not appropriate for everyone. You can lose some or all of your money, and with certain strategies you can lose more than you invested. Past performance, whether mine or anyone else's, does not predict future results. Any figures I publish about win rates, returns, or probabilities are historical or theoretical, and the market has no obligation to repeat them.Model portfolio results are hypothetical unless stated otherwise. They may not reflect the impact of commissions, fees, slippage, assignment, early exercise, or the difficulty of executing at the prices shown. Hypothetical results have inherent limitations, including that they are prepared with the benefit of hindsight. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions and for any losses that result from them. Read the Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options, published by the Options Clearing Corporation, before trading options.
I try to be accurate, and I correct mistakes when I find them. But the Service is provided "as is," and I don't guarantee that any content is complete, current, or free of errors. Markets move; an article written on Tu10esday may be wrong by Thursday. Don't rely on the Service as your only source of information.
The free newsletter is free and stays free. Paid services (The Implied Perspective, The Income Foundation, Wealth Without Shares, and Total Access) are billed [monthly / annually] in advance at the price shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; we don't store your card number.Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page or by emailing [support email]. Cancellation stops future charges; it takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.Refunds: [Choose one. Option A: "All sales are final and we do not offer refunds, except where required by law." Option B: "If you are not satisfied, email us within 30 days of your first charge for a full refund. Renewals are not refundable."]Prices may change. We'll give at least 30 days' notice by email before a price increase affects an existing subscription.
You're responsible for keeping your login details private and for everything that happens under your account. A paid subscription is for one person. Sharing login credentials, forwarding paid content to non-subscribers, or posting it publicly is a breach of these terms and grounds for termination without refund.
